Anna's Bay's mission of music that brings people into harmony with themselves and each other is heavily focused on making top-notch participatory musical experiences available to the greatest number and variety of individuals in our community.
In 2007 we launched the first of our community ensembles, the Anna’s Bay Chorale, which assembled for two terms and presented a number of performances. These included the year’s finale, a two-choir celebration of Christmas in collaboration with the Harstine Island Community Choir which saw over 80 community musicians on a single stage, and a packed Shelton High School Auditorium with only 7 empty seats!
In 2008, the Chorale has been joined by a new outreach vocal ensemble, the Mosquito Fleet (known affectionately as the Mozzies), and Hood Canal Youth Choirs (Primary, grades K-3; Junior, grades 4-8).
