What We Do

Music is nourishment.

An all-volunteer organization, the Anna’s Bay Center for Music works to make music, and all of its benefits, more accessible in rural areas. Our mission is music that builds community.

Children learn better when exposed to music, and seniors better maintain cognitive skills by practicing music. People connect with others more easily in musical environments and heal faster when played live music.

Unfortunately, these musical experiences can be hard to come by in rural areas. Separated from major arts performing centers and universities, rural communities have a harder time taking advantage of all music has to offer.

Anna’s Bay Center for Music brings all of the benefits of music to rural Mason County, Washington.

Anna’s Bay’s community-building music programs are supported primarily by individual donations, ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, and grants.
